Farms produce goods which is used for construction, training and researching in academy. Upgrade your farm to increase goods production.
Farms are a resource node similar to Gold Mines, which produce coins. As the farm produces goods, an indicator over the farm will indicate that goods are ready to be collected. Clicking the farm will automatically move the goods to the warehouse. When the warehouse is full, farm production will cease.

As Backup Goods Storage[]
In early versions of the game, it was possible to use the farm as a reserve goods storage. This became far less attractive, when the plunder ratios were changed, so that attackers could take 50% of the uncollected resources from resrouce nodes. Attackers can loot only 25% of resources from resource storage; Warehouses and Coin Storage. This makes it important to collect resources regularly.
